Lythix Welcomes Jack Needham To Survey Team

Lythix, LLC Adds Jack Needham to Survey Team as Registered Professional Land Surveyor
Midland, TX – September 2020 – Lythix has hired Jack Needham to the position of RPLS. Jack’s addition to the Lythix Survey team ensures that we continue to deliver the highest quality work that our customers expect.
Jack brings with him a wealth of experience and leadership. He is a third-generation land surveyor, whose grandfather started a surveying company immediately following WWII in 1945. Jack took over management of that company from his father in 1994 and became an RPLS in 1996. Since selling his company in 2018, he has worked for Gateway Services and Luchini & Mertz.
Jack brings particular expertise in the areas of boundary and oilfield surveying. His boundary surveying experience includes everything from residential lots to 35,000-acre ranches in Central Texas. His oilfield surveying experience includes interesting projects like determining the river bed beneath Possum Kingdom Lake, which involved scanning and geofencing some of the oldest aerial photographs in Texas.
“I am looking forward to working with the team at Lythix. I appreciate the desire to innovate and continually improve.”
Outside of work, Jack works with nonprofit organizations. He helped create a youth sports nonprofit and has managed it as President for 10 years. He’s coached football, soccer, basketball, and baseball.
