Leading the expansion of Survey services are two industry veterans, Shane Gaskell and Thais Watson Ahlstrand. Shane serves as the Survey Department Manager with well over a decade of field experience. In his time in the industry he’s held a myriad of positions both in the field and in management. After working alongside Lythix for two years, Shane joined the team in 2019. Shane specializes in routing of overhead power, underground power, pipelines, roads, and pad placement. He prides himself on his department’s thoughtful detailed work and places a premium on his ability to react quickly for his clients’ needs.
Thais serves as the team’s Lead Surveyor and Registered Professional Land Surveyor. She started her career as a draftsman before acquiring her Surveyor in Training Certification. Shortly thereafter Thais became a Project Manager until passing the Registered Professional Land Surveyor exam in 2012. Her expertise includes ALTA and land title surveys, large boundary surveys, subdivisions, and all aspects of Oil and Gas surveys including, but not limited to wells, ROWs, and surface sites in both Texas and New Mexico.
